Hi my name is Star Williams and I am an intuitive tarot reader. I was always told from a young age that I was gifted and many would come to me for advice since they always appreciated my perspective on things. I have never been a conventional person and even myself have used various tarot readers as a form of therapy as I found it fascinating and intriguing how someone that doesn’t know me could be so gifted to tell me about my life based on what they can see. I have always been interested in tarot and I also have dreams and also made it a hobby to find out how to interpret dreams. I have always been told by other readers that I should consider reading tarot but I never did it until one day in August last year I decided to purchase a pack of cards and I started reading for family and friends. The rest is history -  I enjoy helping people with my gift and I am grateful that I took a leap of faith to discover my true passion for tarot reading.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I enjoy being able to express someone else’s story from a narrators perspective as it helps me understand them and help guide them on the right path. I have a different style of reading and like to tell it as a story so the client can also see it from a different point of view. When things are happening to us we only see it from the inside but my style of reading let’s the client view it from a more light hearted perspective leaving them confident and refreshed and able to continue their journey on their path of life.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I am a typical Aries I would say as I am a very impulsive person but in a good way. If I want something I will just do it and think about it later. This is how I got into tarot reading. I am a risk taker and they say even though Aries is the first sign of the zodiac we are also the children of the zodiac so I can be pretty playful and I embrace my inner child a lot because of this. Never a dull moment, always creating a new adventure and a new experience. After all that is what life is about :)

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I often had dreams from a young age and would have an imaginary friend. I feel like this started from when I started school. I always saw things that were not there and would often point out the colours of  auras that surrounded others. I was always a more sensitive child and would feel very emotional if someone in my environment was sad. As time went on I realised my imaginary friend was one of my spirit guide who guides me. I have always been aware that there is more than what is seen and that I feel deeper than most people.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

I feel that those readings where I truly connect to another person are the most meaningful.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have always worked in beauty therapy so I have an understanding of how to communicate with people as that is also a form of therapy. I also believe in energies so it is always important that I am also in the right mindset and my energy is balanced to be able to transmute their negative energies should they be carrying any into positive without it affecting me.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

It is important to understand that and I can only speak for myself as a reader when I say this, I say what you need to hear, it’s not always what you want to hear. I mainly focus more on the here and now and how I can help you now.if you are carrying emotional baggage it will come up in your energy and so it will come up in my cards. The future isn’t promised, so it’s best to focus on the here and now. Tarot reading for me is a form of therapy. You cannot move on to something positive if there are emotional blocks in your energy and you don’t want to keep repeating negative cycles so it’s important to take into consideration that even though I am here to help you on the right path, old wounds may resurface, things that are hidden deep that you may not have even spoken about will come to surface.
