My name's Lavina. I found the gift of reading Tarot cards many years ago. I have been captivated by the message and truth behind the cards. What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

The chance to provide comfort, wellbeing and an understanding of what is happening around someone and what can lie ahead. Knowledge is a kind master.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

Scorpio - driven by passion.  As a water sign we derive our strength from the psychic and emotional realm.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

At the age of nine when I found my friend’s sisters’ Tarot cards. She gave them to me; it felt like I had been given an extra part of my being, of who I am. I found them so easy to read and every reading drained me emotionally but in a positive way.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

There have been many, but the most I have to say was when a mother of a grown daughter had lost touch. The mother came to a reading and she just wanted to see her daughter again. All through the reading I felt each card was offering hope and a journey. The reading went well, and 2 weeks later the mother called me and said her daughter had visited her and rekindled the family love. Her daughter had moved to Spain.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I'm a Nurtionist and Personal Trainer, I studied Aromatherapy for 3 years. I practice Ashtanga Yoga and meditation on a daily basis. I deal with every aspect of life in a Holistic way. Additionally I have extnsive knowledge of Sun sign and compatibility charts. I am often asked to interpret dreams, for which I have developed a gift for understanding the meaning.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

You really have to want to know what the cards have to say. Have faith, an open heart and mind.
