I am a natural psychic and empath. I sense the energy of people around me. I became aware of this ability when I was in my twenties. A friend gave me a tarot deck and I started to learn how to read with the cards, along with learning as much as I could about spirituality and the healing arts through courses and books. I have read for friends and family for many years, and they have found my readings to be enlightening and uplifting. When giving a reading I am able to feel the emotions that my client is feeling and, in this way, I get insight into the situation. The cards are a guide to help me access my intuition and from there I can empower my client to understand their situation more deeply and to tap into their own inner strength to find clarity and possible options for what their next step may be in the given situation. I am a caring and non-judgemental listener.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I love connecting with people from all walks of life and being able to be a sounding board, a guide or a listening ear, whatever it may be that they need from the reading. Life can be tough and complicated and can send us curve balls that we were not expecting. Sometimes all that is needed is someone from outside a situation that we are questioning to look at it from a deeper perspective. I feel so honoured when a client shares what is going on in their life with me, it takes courage to be open to looking into a personal situation at a deeper level. I find it very rewarding when I know a client feels uplifted or guided by a reading with me, and feels they received the answers they were looking for.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I am typical of my star sign in that I am determined in pursuing a goal and will work hard to achieve it. I am also sensitive and honest and like to be of service to others if I can through my work. An interest in the occult, spirituality and the unknown is also typical of my sign although that is not widely acknowledged.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I first became aware of my gift in my twenties when I seemed to pick up what was going on in situations with people on a much deeper level, and seeing intentions and motivations of others long before they were aware themselves. As a child I would often think of something quite mundane that hadn't happened in a while, like a certain friend of my parents not having visited for a long time and then the next day they would visit, almost like mini premonitions of everyday things. So I realised when looking back at my childhood that I had known about my gift in childhood but didn't understand what it was.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

There are many memorable moments, when the cards show me exactly what is going on and a client is surprised that the information I have picked up is correct. Early on in my tarot reading journey I did a reading for a new friend and told her that something very important to her, that she had waited for a long time was going to have a positive outcome. I did not know what this was. Two weeks later she told me she had been accepted to a prominent university, along with a scholarship and she had been waiting on tenterhooks for the news. She only told me about this once she had received the positive news.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I have studied energy healing courses, meditation and tarot reading. I am currently studying a crystal intuition course, and I use crystals to connect with a higher power when doing readings. I am also creative and have worked in the creative field. I think this helps me understand the magical imagery and messages to be found in tarot cards. I believe most artists are channelling from other realms or the collective unconscious when creating art. So, I believe having worked in the art world, this has helped me to develop my channel to messages from source. I have worked in managerial positions in the corporate world, so I feel this has given me a good understanding of the dynamics between people. I feel my life experience and work experience helps me have a good perspective on relationship, family and career questions that clients ask.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I think it is important that they are open to hear interpretations of what may be going on in their situation, but also to know that ultimately they have the answers within. I think they should know that no matter how much they are struggling, they can connect with their own inner strength and focus on self-love to move into the healing journey. A reading can give guidance and should be an empowering experience and they have free will to make their own choices, that may be different from what the cards and the reading are indicating.
