I have been reading Tarot for many years; I tune into the person I'm reading for and give the answers I receive from Spirit. Starting as a teenager reading for friends, as I grew older life took over and I put the cards down, picking them up less often until I reached my thirties. Then Spirit kicked me into gear, and I returned to tarot with new energy. I began reading at Mind, Body and Spirit fayres, fairy festivals and other gatherings. The more I read, the more my ability to receive messages from spirit grew. Today I am confident in my abilities and enjoy helping others understand the tarot for themselves.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

The best thing about reading for clients is connecting with others and giving support in a non-judgmental, friendly way. Listening to the client and working with Spirit and tarot together to answer client questions as best I can and having the satisfaction of knowing my clients are happy with the reading.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

Leos, people say are loud, dramatic and vibrant. I definitely have these qualities, but I'm also warm and friendly, with a great sense of humour to lighten a situation.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I remember as a young child, having premonitions of things, that were explained as having an overactive imagination. I could also sense energies from other people and places. It took a long time to get comfortable with feeling these things and even longer to share them with others. When I was ten years old, I was on a family holiday, a vision came to me about a friend hurting her knee on a toy. I told my family if this friend goes to the play area today, she'll get hurt. No-one believed me, later that afternoon my friend was carried back into our caravan after falling on a toy. Her parents said it was half buried in the grass and no-one saw it. My friend ended up with a couple of stitches in her knee and still my family were sceptical!

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

Each off my client readings are special and unique in their own way.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I've always been drawn to holistic therapies and helping people feel empowered. Alongside my job as a support worker for people with disabilities, I trained as a sound therapist. Using tuning forks to induce clients into a state of deep relaxation and healing. My work and life experience help me understand the importance of nurturing others during readings.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

Clients need to be open and interactive during the reading. Spirit will give messages that might not be the answer clients are expecting but it will be honest. Clients have free will to choose their own actions, the cards cannot force clients to do something they don't want to!
