What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I really love being able to enable people to see the deeper meaning behind what they are experiencing – especially around areas such as relationships, and moving forward in life.  Sometimes the sense of struggle creates more struggle and anxiety, and I feel it is important to guide a client with total respect and non-judgement, towards clarity and empowerment over confusion, into a sense of their power of choice, wisdom and love.  I’ve always loved people, and am so passionate about areas around self-esteem and breaking away from a sense of identity, that is imprinted upon us by others, into the sense of identity we choose for ourselves.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

Well, I am a Scorpio with an Aries ascendant and a Virgo moon.  Aries is my pioneer energy, Virgo is all about service and healing, and Scorpio is the sign of vision and being able y pin point truth and error in a situation.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

I cannot really remember not being aware of energies – of people, places and situations.  It was obvious to me that people had this energy field around them, which wasn’t always terrific.  I was super sensitive as a child and preferred my animals and my imagination to the rough and tumble of family life.  At school I realized that not everyone was like me, so I had to tone down a bit, and learn to stand up for myself.  Being able to read energy though, never left me, and initially I used my “gift” to sort of navigate situations to stay out of trouble.  So I’ve been guided along the lines of understanding how energy works – and tarot is a great tool for nailing down where everyone is energetically at any given time, and where a situation is heading energetically.   A reading then allows for the energy to be changed, to change an outcome.  Energy is not carved in stone.  It is fluid and can change if we observe it differently.  And the energy we have at our disposal is quite simply our thoughts and feelings, which in turn create our “reality”.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

This is difficult to answer, as each person is important and unique in themselves, and so are the readings.  If I’m honest here, the most memorable to me recently was this situation my client was going through that just did not look good on paper.  She had come home from work and her partner had just gone on the missing list, with no forwarding address, no explanation and a new phone number.  It was so hard to see her like this, knowing that the whole situation was not a quick fix – and on my part feeling a huge responsibility to handle things correctly.  Because he wouldn’t speak to her, she did need to at least try to understand where he was coming from – so we started from there.  It was quite a journey, but despite of the turmoil, an outcome was showing a possibility of reconciliation, marriage, and new home and a fantastic career move for her.  She just had to navigate through an emotionally difficult time, and at the end of the day it would be her who decided how this relationship played out. She was hurting so much at first that she wasn’t open to such a positive outcome.   But I guess when you are in it; the only way is through it. Well eventually they did meet up again, and were able to talk and listen to each other.  The reasons he told her were the reasons that had come through in her readings.  And she had looked at herself too.  Anyway, they got married, have just bought, “their” new home, and she has changed jobs back into the industry she loves at a managerial level. 

It just shows that in the pocket of energy which is manifesting as a difficult circumstance, it won’t last forever, but it is a wake-up call to change.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I am deeply spiritual, and always felt love was more important than anything else.  I meditate daily and strive always for a strong connection with my Higher Self.  I have worked on my own biases so that I do not project unresolved issues onto my clients or readings.  I’ve truly had to learn to manage myself, as life has presented me with some difficult initiations.  All of this, plus all my studies about body, mind and soul are reflected in reading, at whatever level a client can take.  I am an Inner Family Archetype facilitator.  This helps to open people up to the four different energies available to them on a conscious level. 

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

Go to the reader you feel drawn to – who you feel an inner connection.  A reading is for guidance at a time where you need an insight to move you forward.  So choose a reader with the skill set that fits your perceived needs, for the right guidance.  At the end of the day it is your choice, then just be open to the options that present themselves.
