About Mihangel

My name is Michael Griffiths. My nickname is Mihangel, (pronounced "my angel") which is in fact Welsh for Michael. I'm a semi-retired curative hypnotherapist who, at an early time in my career, discovered I have the gift of cartomancy or tarot card reading. After inducing a client into hypnosis I found that we had a closer connection than could be explained by hypnosis alone. I decided to delve deeper and found that my great grandmother was a psychic as was my grandmother. It then skipped a generation namely my mother and was then imparted to me. As with my hypnotherapy practise, so it is with my tarot reading, my clients privacy, well-being and confidence are my primary objective.

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

I enjoy speaking to new people and, being an Aries, I enjoy helping others in any way that I can. I have done this with my hypnotherapy practice, and now now I find I can continue helping others with my online card reading. To take it one step further I incorporate numerology with my tarot reading in order to get a broader and more in-depth look at a client's concern.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I am an Aries the sun sign, and being born under the first zodiac sign. As with typical Aries I have found in my 69 years on this planet that I have passion, drive, a lot of energy, extremely restless and a born leader. As an Aries I do have my weaknesses also and I fear those are typical as well. I am very prone to being impulsive, impatient and I have mood swings. In fact that has shown in me physically as having bipolar assertive disorder. Rest assured this is under control. Being ruled by the planet Mars and the element of fire I have the utmost self-confidence, motivation and have been known or am known to do what I need in order to get my way.

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

To be truthful, looking back, I first really was made aware of my gift when I was at the age of 8 or 9. I was walking in a town with my parents when suddenly we were stopped by an old lady (carrying the obligatory basket of lavender cuttings) who looked at me, then at my parents, and told them that I was special and would be capable of doing anything that I set my mind to. Now she could not have known that my astrological sign is Aries so she could not have known the traits which go into to an Aries physical and mental makeup. That was the first time and and as, most people who have a gift, I did nothing with the information. The first time I became acutely aware of my gift was during my my hypnotherapy practice approximately 18 years ago.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

The most memorable experience that I have ever had with a client is is sending a 32 year old woman back in virtual time to give her 8-year old self a big hug and to let that 8-year old self know that everything is going to be alright. The experience for me may have been virtual however the tears of joy and gratitude from my client were as real as they possibly could be.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

As I mentioned I'm a semi-retired curative hypnotherapist which helps me with empathy and being able to to understand a client's concerns without being judgemental. I'm also aware that inevitably has the answer and in a psychic numerology and tarot reading setting this is as true as it is in hypnotherapy. Having lived in America for 18 years and studying psychology in the university of Rochester has given me insights and understanding which I feel can and will compliment my work.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I am of the firm opinion that the most important thing for my clients to consider, and to understand when having a psychic reading, is that I am only giving advice and it is down to them how they accepted and/or act on it. It is not dissimilar to handing somebody a £20.00 note and not being able to tell how to spend it, where to spend it or what to spend it on. They must understand that it is they, the client, who has the answer. I am merely the guide that helps them to discover and if necessary act on that information.
