Hi, thank you for considering me to be your guide today! My name is Kitty, I'm a fourth-generation tarot reader, clairsentient and claircognizant, with over 25 years of experience. I feel very passionately about using my gifts to aid people on life's journey with guidance and insight, helping them navigate challenges they may be experiencing. I read what I see, raw, honest truth, without judgement or negativity. My calling is to pass on messages from the universe and give you some practical tools and advice to move forward!

What do you like most about giving readings to clients?

Oh, my goodness, how long is a piece of string! I absolutely love the journey I go on with my clients throughout their readings. As a clairsentient I truly feel connected to each person I read for, being able to bring clarity to a situation, or offer tangible advice and next steps is my calling. My clients appreciate my honesty, although sometimes difficult, working through these issues to reach a resolution or the promise of a better outcome is such an honour for me, I am so grateful to be able to share this with people.

How would you say you are typical of your star sign?

I have many traits of the 'typical' Virgo, I'm analytical, hardworking and practical and I am very detail orientated. However, I was two weeks overdue as my mother likes to remind me! And I should have been a Leo, so I carry the boldness, honesty and loyalty that's synonymous with the fire sign, my friends would say I also have Leo's tendency for dramatics, but that can't possibly be true ;-)

When do you remember being first aware of your gift?

My first memory is at around aged 9, asking my mother if it was OK that I could talk to my friend in my head without us speaking. Her response was 'yes darling but perhaps don't tell anyone about that just yet'. When I was 12, I was gifted my first set of Tarot cards that belonged to my great grandmother, as is the tradition in our family and began my journey towards spiritual enlightenment. All of the women in my life are gifted in different ways, and my gift turned out to also be my passion, reading Tarot.

What is your most memorable experience with a client?

This one is very easy! It was a reading for a close friend a few years ago. She wanted a general reading and guidance on the path she intended to take. She had 3 children and was scheduled to have a hysterectomy in the coming months; however, the cards don't lie, and they very much revolved around her having another child, naturally she assumed I was wrong, and we went on about our lives. When she went for the surgery, they scanned her to make sure everything was OK, and guess what they found alive and kicking in her womb, another baby! The surgery was cancelled, and her little girl is 5 this year.

What other experiences or qualifications do you have that you feel compliment your work as a reader?

I've always worked in professions offering advice or support of some kind. I worked for the NHS for many years as the lead commissioner of children's complex care. A very difficult job helping families find care and support for their children who had complex needs and sometimes life limiting conditions. I became counsellor, confident and friend throughout their journeys, offering what advice I could and connecting with them under challenging circumstances was incredibly rewarding.

What is the most important thing for a person to consider when they decide to have a psychic reading?

I would suggest they take some time to consider the type of reading they want, and what they want to get out of it. Sometimes you don't get the answer you want, you'll get the answer you need and that can be frustrating. Tarot is very much a guide to what could happen on this current path, everything can change or be changed by external influences, nothing in life is set in stone. I would counsel an open mind and a willing to accept the advice you're given as the message the universe wants you to focus on in this moment.
